I actually finished my book two days ago, but felt a disconnection with the web. The book was a little dull, but in a sense it was because of the attitude I had towards it at the end. I recognize the feat that Friedman is attempting to do (predict for a whole century). Friedman's predictions seem feasible to me for sure, yet I feel a little silly reading of what will(?) happen in 100 years because I truly doubt I will be alive. (Who knows, maybe mortality rate drops dramatically.)
Nonetheless, I started reading a new book called "The Secret of Scent" by Luca Turin pictured above. This guy goes bananas for perfume. And I am glad he does. I want a truly perfume junkie to teach me the wonders of scent and perfume. I have always been passionately attached to scent. All of my memories are accompanied by a scent. This will be an interesting read. Wait around to see what will happen.
